Economic empowerment at OHEPASA is driven by the need to reduce poverty, promote self-reliance, and support vulnerable women and youths. It addresses unemployment, limited access to resources, and gender inequality, helping beneficiaries gain skills, start businesses, and improve their livelihoods for sustainable community growth and independence. Support Survivors of Sexual Violence

Survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) often face trauma caused by power imbalance, discrimination, and harmful cultural norms. Poverty, lack of education, and weak legal systems also increase vulnerability. Many survivors experience lasting psychological, emotional, and physical effects. Fear of stigma, victim-blaming, and inadequate support services worsen their recovery and silence their voices. OHEPASA’s educational program empowers children with knowledge, confidence, and life skills. It provides learning materials, mentorship, and emotional support to help them thrive academically and personally. By keeping children in school, we nurture hope, build resilience, and create a pathway to a brighter, more inclusive future for every child.
